OBR ADV Gear – Motorcycle Soft Luggage Built for Adventure

Great tank bag. It replaces a much larger Tusk 6 liter tank bag — though smaller, the OBR High Bassin tank bag’s square form factor provides a larger than expected usable volume — I was able to transfer everything (tire pump, tire repair kit, a battery jumper / power bank / light, tire lock, zip ties, Traumoto tourniquet… and toilet paper).

I’ll use the top pocket for registration papers, garage door opener,… The molle loops on top of the pocket are perfect to attach my e-Element fire extinguisher pouch and the OBR addional fuel tank holster — to avoid getting stranded with my Ducati 698 Mono.

Bought the handlebar bag for a yamaha mt09.
Mounted in the up position and it’s a perfect fit. Quality bag zippers are top notch also. Perfect for wallet,keys,glasses ect. It’s not big,but perfect for thise type things. Very happy with it.

I had emailed Mike back and forth a few times and ended up ordering the updated Rackless 2.0 bags. Just received them yesterday and am very happy with how well-built they appear to be. It will take some fiddling to set up right but once assembled I think the process will be smooth. I feel good about my purchase and about supporting a small USA business. I received the product in excellent condition. Installed it on Friday and went for a ride. Provided great protection for my hands in <40F temps. Adjustable and easy to install and remove on my R1250GS.. Kudos to you guys.

This bag is prepared to work anywhere you need it to. VERY well made! Every detail of it is well thought out and made to be used hard. Excellent stitching at every seem. Both sides with straps and connectors, it will work anywhere on your bike.

I got these for Idaho winter riding. They are very well designed. Fingers are out of the cold air but the controls on the handlebar are still visible. I can wear reasonable riding gloves instead of big bulky winter gloves and still have warm fingers. I also like that they mostly flatten for storage in the pannier. A good purchase!

This is my third piece of gear from OBR. I have to say the specific use for the mitt is a game changer. Combined with heated grips my hands are for the first time EVER warm a comfy for the entire day. The build quality is spot on great fit and finish. I met Mike and Burt at the Touratech Rally last June, really great guys with a similar passion for getting out to have wheeled adventures.

Just the right size, a snap to install, and ofers the right amount of protection.

Used on one trip so far. Worked pretty good on a 24 KTM with a 4 gallon tank. Had to modify the straps a little to fit where I wanted it. Built well and should hold up for a long time. Handy to have the wallet and a few small items that you can get at easily.

the ordering roocess was simple; the side bags arrived promptly; sturdy constructiion, easy installation and looks great.

I bought my 38L Rackless Adventure Saddlebags 2.0 at Touratech 2025 to replace my Giant Loop Coyote 39L setup. I have a T7 with the Tusk Rack and Camel side racks, making the rear of the bike very wide. The Coyote's horseshoe shape was too narrow to fit well over the wide seat/racks so it rode high. The OBR Rackless design uses a strong velcro panel system that allows the 'saddle' area to be adjusted very wide - so the bags sit very well and low, as they should to keep the center of gravity low and toward the rider. They can also be reset to fit a narrow bike. - making the system very flexible if you have 2 bikes, or if you change bikes. I'd say the OBR Saddlebag system is as good as the Mosko Moto saddlebags in quality, usefulness, and looks.... and better as described above.
