OBR ADV Gear – Motorcycle Soft Luggage Built for Adventure
Durable, Made in the USA, Designed To Get You There and Back
At OBR ADV Gear, we spend countless hours riding and exploring the backcountry — so we know what tough gear really means. We set high standards for the equipment we rely on, because it has to endure the harshest conditions.
That’s why our motorcycle bags are designed with essential, functional features — not flashy extras that break or go unused. From saddlebags and tank bags to tool rolls, grip mitts, and tail bags, every piece of OBR gear is built from premium, heavy-duty materials and proudly made in the USA.
Best of all, we keep it fair: dependable gear, great value, and a limited lifetime warranty. Whether you’re commuting, tackling a BDR, or heading deep into the backcountry, OBR ADV Gear helps you carry what matters.
Give OBR ADV Gear a try, we think you’ll like it!

from 40 reviewsI got these for Idaho winter riding. They are very well designed. Fingers are out of the cold air but the controls on the handlebar are still visible. I can wear reasonable riding gloves instead of big bulky winter gloves and still have warm fingers. I also like that they mostly flatten for storage in the pannier. A good purchase!
This is my third piece of gear from OBR. I have to say the specific use for the mitt is a game changer. Combined with heated grips my hands are for the first time EVER warm a comfy for the entire day. The build quality is spot on great fit and finish. I met Mike and Burt at the Touratech Rally last June, really great guys with a similar passion for getting out to have wheeled adventures.
Just the right size, a snap to install, and ofers the right amount of protection.
Clearly designed by a rider. Well done!
materiale di ottima fattura.
facile montaggio.
Used on one trip so far. Worked pretty good on a 24 KTM with a 4 gallon tank. Had to modify the straps a little to fit where I wanted it. Built well and should hold up for a long time. Handy to have the wallet and a few small items that you can get at easily.
the ordering roocess was simple; the side bags arrived promptly; sturdy constructiion, easy installation and looks great.
Time will tell the rest of the story .
First impression and experiencd are first class !!!
I bought my 38L Rackless Adventure Saddlebags 2.0 at Touratech 2025 to replace my Giant Loop Coyote 39L setup. I have a T7 with the Tusk Rack and Camel side racks, making the rear of the bike very wide. The Coyote's horseshoe shape was too narrow to fit well over the wide seat/racks so it rode high. The OBR Rackless design uses a strong velcro panel system that allows the 'saddle' area to be adjusted very wide - so the bags sit very well and low, as they should to keep the center of gravity low and toward the rider. They can also be reset to fit a narrow bike. - making the system very flexible if you have 2 bikes, or if you change bikes. I'd say the OBR Saddlebag system is as good as the Mosko Moto saddlebags in quality, usefulness, and looks.... and better as described above.
I've tried several well known handlebar bags, but none really checked all the boxes. Each had its shortcomings, which I overlooked, until I discovered the Ledge Handlebar Bag. This bag features spacious, evenly sized compartments, making it easy to store and charge my phone. The heavy-duty zippers operate smoothly without jamming, and the contrasting liner helps me quickly locate loose items. The mesh pocket adds extra storage, which is a thoughtful touch.
What sets the Ledge apart are its suspension straps. These bungee-like straps keep the bag suspended, preventing the Ledge from scratching my bike's plastics, a common issue with other bags. While I accept that my bike will get scratches over time, it's frustrating when accessories contribute to cosmetic damage. With the Ledge, that's no longer a concern. It's reasonably priced, built to last, and looks great. Thanks, OBR!
OBR Dry Duffle Bag Review
I wasn’t exactly in the market for another duffle bag, but while packing my R1250GS for a trip, I realized my existing bags just weren’t mounting securely enough. I decided to try the OBR Dry Duffle Bag, hoping it would offer better anchoring options and it did.
The integrated D-rings were very helpful, making it easy to run Rok Straps through and attach the bag directly to my tail rack. I added a small cargo net as a backup, and this setup held strong through rough terrain, including rocky sections and aggressive trail riding. The bag never shifted or came loose, even during the roughest stretches.
Beyond its secure mounting, the bag’s compression straps and roll-top closure stood out. The compression straps kept everything tight and stable inside, reducing bulk. The roll-top made accessing my gear quick and hassle-free, especially helpful when shedding layers as the day warmed up.
Best of all, the price is hard to beat. Compared to other big-name moto luggage options, the OBR Dry Duffle Bag offers serious value. It’s now my go-to dry bag.
Thanks, OBR—solid gear!
We had the 10L bags first and soon realized my son needed more room. So we upgraded to the 38L Saddlebag’s.
So happy we did. Great design, fits perfectly on the KLX300. Holds extra fuel bottles with the external webbing / loops.
We’re used to the Top Trunk on our other bikes and his previous bike. We wanted to try the saddlebag style out.
So glad we did. Thank you Mike for a great design / fit on these bags. It’s appreciated.
I'm planning a trip in a few weeks and needed a tank bag for phone, hat, and a BDR map. I'm riding a Tuareg and this bag was recommended on the forum. I ordered and it arrived pronto. I opened the box and couldn't believe how small it is but there isn't a lot of real estate for it to sit on the tank. I decided to test fit before sending back and glad I did, it's the perfect size and will be great for a few items I use throughout my riding days. Quality of the bag is high quality and I wouldn't hesitate to order from this company again.
The addition of the stiffeners makes this a much better product.
When coupled with their excellent customer service you can't lose!
Extremely well made and the perfect size for my Svartpilen 401. The yellow lining really helps you be able to see everything inside the bag. I keep my drone and a few other items in the tank bag and the drone controller in the Hitchhiker top pocket. I haven’t found and tank bag that has the options like this, being able to snap on different additional bags or map holders is really cool. I absolutely recommend this tank bag!
This is perfect, holds the Touratech 2 liter bottles perfectly, seems super tough and looks good!
